Step 0 - Please read all the information on this page before requesting a commission.
Step 1 - Email your request to johnraptor@aol.com, including a detailed description of the picture you would like and the character(s) involved in it. Indicate whether you want a pencil sketch, an black & white drawing or a full color drawing (see Price List for further details). For colored drawings, please specify media (see Color Media Options for further details).
Step 2 - Wait for confirmation of your request. The confirmation will include a final price quote. If you have changed your mind for any reason and would like to withdraw you request, this is the best time to do so. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to fulfill all requests.
Step 3 - Once I have confirmed the commission, I will begin working. I will then email you an image of the work in progress so that if there are any changes that you would like made, you can suggest them. At this time, you can choose to either pay for the commission in full or pay a $10 deposit and the remainder upon delivery. I can take check, money order, or PayPal (johnraptor@aol.com).
Step 4 - I will complete the drawing and deliver it to you in the form of a lo-res "ready for web" file and a hi-res "ready to print" file. Originals also available upon request. (see Price List for further details) If you have not yet paid for the commission in full, please pay the remained at this time. Depending on the complexity of the commission (and my schedule), please allow one to several weeks for completion.
Pencil sketch - $15
Black & white drawing - $25
Colored drawing - $50
Color miniature or ACEO- $25
If you would like the original mailed to you, an additional $20 will be charged for sketches, miniatures and ACEOs and $30 for full sized drawings, shipping included. (for obvious reasons, originals of digitally colored commissions will be black & white) An additional charge may be included for shipping outside the U.S.
Prices may increase depending on the complexity of the commission. Listed prices are for roughly 8x10 to 9x12 inches in size. Miniatures are about 4x5 to 4.5x6. ACEOs are 2.5x3.5 Larger sizes may be requested, but this will affect the final price.
Please feel free to ask about large order and repeat customer discounts.
When requesting a colored commission, please indicate whether you would prefer real media (such as paint, marker, colored pencil, etc.) or digital media (fully digital or digitally colored line drawing). If you have no preference, I will choose the media I feel would be best for the piece.
Miniatures and ACEOs are always real media.

• Unless otherwise stated, I reserve the right to reproduce and distribute any and all commissioned artworks for any reason, including but not limited to self promotion and sale.
• Unless the original is sold with the commission or otherwise stated, I reserve the right to sell any originals of commissioned artworks.
• If for any reason I cannot fulfill your request and you have already paid in part or in full, I will refund your money, but please do not send any money until I have confirmed your request, as premature payment could lead to confusion and delay your refund.
